Abadie's sign

Abadie's sign (not to be confused with Abadie's Sign)is a spasm of the Levator Palpebrae Superioris muscle with retraction of the upper eye lid (so that the sclera is visible above cornea). Abadie's sign is seen in Graves-Basedow disease which, together with exophthalmos, causes the bulging eyes appearance.
