Raynaud's Disease

Raynaud's Disease, not to be confused with Raynaud's Phenomenon has the same exact manifestation and characteristics as Raynaud's Phenomenon. It is only referred to as Raynaud's Disease when the secondary causes of Raynaud's Phenomenon have been excluded.

About half of the patients with Raynaud's Phenomenon have Raynaud's Disease, and in this case, the fingers are often more involved than the toes. Moreover, women are affected more than men.
